Plan Summary

The Extra Income Plan has been designed to deliver attractive investment income over a 5 year period. What is more, the Plan is structured with a defined risk criteria, so it is clear to our investors what to expect when they invest. The amount of invested capital that will be returned is linked to the performance of both the FTSE™ 100 and the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50 Indices. As a result, you may not get back your original investment at the end of the 5 year investment period.

You will receive 100% of your original investment at maturity in the following circumstances:

If either index never falls by more than 50% from its Start Index Level at any time during the investment period, your capital repayment is protected, even if the Final Index Level is lower than the Start Index Level. This is a feature which has been designed to limit the risk to your capital; or

If either index falls by more than 50% from its Start Index Level at any time during the investment period, you will still receive your full original investment if the Final Index Level of both indices are the same or higher than the Start Index Level.

You will not receive 100% of your original investment at maturity if:

Either index falls by more than 50% from its Start Index Level at any time during the Investment Period; and the Final Index Level of either index is lower than the Start Index Level.

In this instance the capital will be lost by 1% for each 1% that the Final Index Level is below the Starting Index Level of the Worst Performing Index. Where the difference results in a fraction of 1%, the fraction will be applied. For example, if the Final Index Level is 55.5% below the Start Index Level then your capital repayment would be reduced by 55.5% leaving 44.5% of the original investment being returned.

Regardless of the performance of the indices, income and growth payments will continue to be payable.

The FTSE™100 Index is a share index of the 100 most highly capitalised companies listed on the London Stock Exchange. The index is seen as a barometer of success of the British economy and is the leading share index in Europe.

Dow Jones EURO STOXX®50 is a stock index of the 50 largest companies in Eurozone designed by STOXX® Limited, a joint venture of Deutsche Boerse AG, Dow Jones & Company and SWX Group. It does not include any exposure to UK companies.
